Francesville is one of Indiana’s best-kept secrets! This rural, close-knit community is nestled in Salem Township on the west side of Pulaski County on HWY 421, approximately 40 miles north of Lafayette and 40 miles south of Interstate 80/90.

Francesville Fall Festival
September 18, 19 & 20, the streets will be bustling with a parade, crafts, flea markets, food, vendors, carnival rides, music and many other activities to entertain all ages.
VAU Fallen Heroes Memorial - The 2026 Francesville Fall Festival is very proud to host this memorial as the Festival celebrates our countries 250th birthday with the theme of "America 250!" Made of over 7000 dog tags creating an image of the American Flag, the replica Dog Tags are of Soldiers Killed In Action since 9/11 for the Global War on Terror. The memorial also has 50 gold stars on the Flag to honor Gold Star families nationwide. The flag is built and funded by veterans. It has traveled to 200+ locations nationwide since 2018. All proceeds from its travel go to support Gold Star family organizations and GWOT Memorial Foundations mission to build a National Memorial in Washington, D.C. There will also be a 43-inch kiosk screen displaying a photo and biography if known of these heroes. This year for the America 250 Celebration the Fall Festival Committee decided to honor our Veterans by hanging banners on the poles throughout town.
Next time you visit Francesville, take a look at the over 50 banners adorning the streets that honor our local Veterans. The plan is to leave the banners up for the remainder of 2026.
