Moss Creek Golf Course and Banquet Center
Moss Creek is a family-oriented public 18-Hole, Par 70 golf course located near Winamac, 14 miles east of Francesville. Come spend some time at Moss Creek and take advantage of the beautiful and challenging course, as well as the pro-shop, fully stocked bar and meals served from the Moss Creek kitchen.
Moss Creek Golf Course opened for play in 1959 as a 9-Hole course. It was owned by nine men, who each designed one hole. The course was sold in 1985 and the back 9 was added a few years later making it a Par 70 course.
You will find this course to be one that many first-time visitors believe they will shoot well under their handicap yet leave wondering why that didn't happen. It has a traditional layout with varying obstacles. Half of the course cuts through wooded areas and other parts take on the waters of Moss Creek. There are a number of cart bridges that cross water along the course -- golfers must cross over water 7 times on the Front 9 alone. After you tee off on the 323-yard 11th hole, you will pass through a red covered bridge enroute to the elevated green.
Moss Creek offers very economically priced annual golf memberships, has competitive Summer and Fall leagues available, and has a Scramble on Sunday evening from early Spring to late Fall. There are also several private golf outings that can be scheduled for your group, organization or family.
The course is visibly mature and in excellent condition. Amenities include power carts with ball washers and club cleaners, pull carts, club rental, putting & chipping green, on-course restroom, Pro Shop, fully-stocked bar and meals available.
The Clubhouse is available for rent for special events such as: company party, bridal or baby shower, anniversary or graduation open house, class reunion, wedding rehearsal or even a small wedding. This is a very reasonably priced venue that offers banquet food, fully stocked bar, microphone capabilities and big screen television with surround sound speakers.
Moss Creek Golf Course is a course well worth playing and deserving of its reputation as one of the finest courses in Northern Indiana.
