NV Salon & Tanning
Spotlight on NV SALON & TANNING
Tuesday, May 30th, 2018 proved to be a perfect day for the ribbon cutting ceremony marking the new location of NV Salon. Friends, family and patrons congratulated owner, Lindsey Geyer for the purchase of her building on 128 S. Bill St. in Francesville, previously the Dr. Kim Moyer optometrist office. Prior to being an optometrist office, the Pulaski Memorial Hospital owned the building and rented it out to the Ross Ambulance service. This structure was built in 1920 and originally owned by JR Hayworth who operated a business of poultry and wool. Lindsey and her husband Shawn Geyer spent about a year remodeling the interior of the building. What had previously been a waiting room and receptionist office, has been opened to accommodate 3 stylists’ areas. The tanning salon is also in operation. In addition, there is a nail/manicurist area and in time a room for massage therapy. As the sole owner of NV Salon, Lindsey rents space to two stylists, Brandi Hannon, and Tricia Geyer. Tricia offers nail/manicure options. During the Dr. Moyer era, the building housed a single apartment. Lindsey is brainstorming possible business adventures to best utilize this additional space located in the building. Lindsey loves living and working in Francesville. She never intended to be an entrepreneur, but realizes there is so much potential in her building and our small town, that she can’t ignore the opportunity for growth. With her drive and go get ‘em attitude, it will be exciting to see how her ideas take fruition! |
